On stable, beveled panel support. Frame abrasion at edges, most notably affecting the upper edge. Extremely slight yellowing to the varnish layer. Scattered instances of very faint, finely patterned craquelure. A very few scattered pinpoint dots of loss. Minor surface dust. Not examined out of frame. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Brushy retouching at edges. An older treatment campaign appears below the varnish layer as scattered instances of finely applied retouching to the figures' costumes and some strengthening to darker pigments of the architecture at right.
