Drypoint. Signed and numbered. From an edition of 60 copies. On laid paper (with watermark "BSB"). 27.5 x 21.8 cm. Sheet: 58 x 45,5 cm.
Published by Paul Cassirer, Berlin, January 1924. [KA].
- Expressive nude portrait in Max Beckmann's characteristic expressionist style. - In the years after World War I until around 1924, Beckmann concentrated mainly on graphic art and produced only a few paintings. - Another copy from this edition is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
