This work is a published Esquired Petty Girl with the caption: "I'm not posing for that account any longer. It seems I took the consumer's mind entirely off the product." The work was then reused with the application of hand-painted collage elements by George Petty for Jantzen when they expanded into lingerie. The present work appears on page 402 of The Art of Pin-Up by Dian Hanson with Louis K. Meisel and Sarahjane Blum (Taschen, 2014). The work is accompanied by a Petty Girl offset lithograph signed and dedicated to Mitch Heinemann, Executive Vice President, and number one Salesman for Jantzen Swimsuit Company.
